My K-IP can’t detect the GPS. On the app, the icon is greyed out, what can I do?

To solve this, simply go outside and wait (or leave your beacon outside) for about 5 minutes. The GPS of your K-IP beacon will find its position. This may be due to the K-IP being switched off/inactive for a long period of time: whether it is the first time you have switched on the K-IP…

How do I know when the K-IP is in distress alert mode?

When your K-IP is in DISTRESS ALERT mode, its LED flashes red three times in a row. This LED color (red) and flashing repetition (3 times) are only used during the DISTRESS mode, which is not the case in any other mode. ๐Ÿ˜‰
